At The Calm Place, our Sound Bath sessions offer a deeply restorative experience designed to support relaxation, emotional balance, and energetic harmony. Sound healing goes beyond instrument play, using intentional vibration and frequency to influence brainwave states, calm the nervous system, and encourage healing.
Each session is a meditative journey where you are gently “bathed” in sound. Crystal singing bowls, flute, chimes, and other sacred instruments create layered frequencies that help quiet the mind, release tension, and invite deep rest. As the body settles, sound can enhance mindfulness, emotional release, and connection to your inner self.
Whether you’re seeking stress relief, clarity, or a peaceful pause, this offering provides a weekly chance for your nervous system to slow down, release, receive, and rest.

Mat Pilates is a low-impact class that focuses on core strength, stability, and mobility. Using just your body and the mat, you’ll move through intentional exercises that support better posture, balance, and overall mind-body awareness.

Allow yourself to be gently held in a deeply restorative space where Reiki and sound come together to bring balance, clarity, and calm. This guided meditation combines the subtle healing energy of Reiki with the immersive frequencies of crystal bowls, chimes, and other therapeutic instruments.

Kundalini Yoga, often called the yoga of awareness, is a holistic practice that blends movement, breathwork, meditation, and mantra to support both physical and energetic alignment. Through intentional, repetitive movements paired with conscious breathing, the practice helps cultivate awareness, vitality, and balance.
This class is intro-friendly and open to all levels, especially those who are curious about Kundalini Yoga or new to the practice. Each class features a different kriya—a structured sequence designed to support a specific area of the body, energy system, or inner focus. No two classes are exactly the same, offering a fresh and purposeful experience each time.
With an emphasis on synchronized breath and movement, Kundalini Yoga helps release stagnant energy, balance the chakras, and awaken a deeper sense of clarity and inner wisdom. Classes are thoughtfully guided, accessible, and empowering—meeting you exactly where you are while inviting greater connection within.
Dress in layers and comfortable clothes you can move easily in. For added comfort, you may wish to bring a blanket, an eye mask and a small pillow or folded blanket for under your head.

Restorative Breathwork is a deeply nourishing practice designed to support the parasympathetic nervous system - the body’s natural rest-and-restore state. This class focuses on pranayama and gentle, accessible breathwork techniques that help calm the mind, reduce stress, and support nervous system regulation through conscious, intentional breathing.
Throughout the class, you’ll be guided through slow, rhythmic, and restorative breathing practices that encourage relaxation, emotional balance, and improved focus. The pace is unhurried and supportive, with space to listen inward and respond to what your body needs in each moment.
Each one-hour class concludes with a dedicated period of rest and integration. This may include a short yoga nidra, a sound bath, gentle movement, or another restorative practice designed to help the body and mind fully absorb the benefits of the breathwork. Restorative Breathwork will help regulate, soften, and restore.
This class is open to all levels and is especially supportive for those seeking stress relief, nervous system regulation, and deeper rest.

Nurtured Beginnings: A Prenatal Yoga and Birth Prep Series
This six-week series offers a supportive space to connect with other pregnant people while preparing your body, mind, and nervous system for birth and early parenthood.
Each class begins with a 20–30 minute educational conversation focused on a specific birth-related topic, followed by a 60-minute prenatal yoga practice. After class, you’re invited to stay for tea, ask questions, and share reflections in a relaxed, community-oriented setting.
The series is facilitated by Erica, a trained doula with experience supporting clients through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Her approach blends practical education, embodied awareness, and compassionate support.
This class is suitable for all bodies and all stages of pregnancy, including those with no prior yoga experience. The movement practice focuses on functional, pregnancy-safe strengthening of the core and pelvic floor to help reduce the risk of diastasis recti, bladder leaks, and prolapse. You’ll also learn how to safely modify other yoga classes or movement practices you may participate in outside this series.
Throughout the program, we’ll work with breath to regulate the nervous system and calm the mind, explore yoga postures that ease common pregnancy discomforts, and use meditation to support the emotional transition into parenthood. Each class concludes with a guided relaxation and visualization designed to reduce fear, build confidence, and deepen connection with your baby.
Weekly topics include:
Week 1: Pelvic anatomy and baby positioning
Week 2: The stages of labour
Week 3: The fear–tension–pain cycle and pain relief options
Week 4: Breathing techniques for labour
Week 5: Labour and birth positions
Week 6: Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and planning for the postpartum period

This class begins with a slow, mindful body stretch using gentle yoga postures to softly release tension in the muscles and joints. This portion of the class initiates slowing the mind, soothing the nervous system, and preparing your body to lie in stillness. Yoga Nidra will follow.
Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a deeply restorative form of meditation that gently guides your brainwaves into a theta state—the place of healing, integration, and profound rest. You will be guided into a state of deep relaxation, allowing the body to restore and the mind to settle, leaving you feeling calm, rejuvenated, and renewed.

Back to Body: Postnatal Yoga with Baby
Get to know your postpartum body and connect with your breath in a baby-friendly class with other new parents. Parents will move, breathe and practice self-care, while keeping your baby close. Taught by a doula and experienced mother of 3, this class will help you find some calm in the beautiful chaos of the fourth trimester and beyond.
This class is beginner friendly and variations will be given for all body types and fitness levels. We will focus on breathing and functional movement for the core and pelvic floor for those with diastasis recti, bladder leaks, prolapse, and other common postpartum issues - and we will prepare your body to safely return to other yoga classes and movement practices. The practice is designed for the birthing person’s postpartum body (6 weeks postpartum or in consultation with your care provider), but all parents are welcome and will benefit. All babies are welcome, but parents often find class is easier when they are pre-crawling.
Please bring a blanket or play mat for your baby to lie on during class, as well as any other baby items you may need (diaper bag, toys, nursing pillow, baby carrier, etc). You can feed, change, or attend to your baby during class as needed. Erica is also a postpartum doula and is happy to help. This class may not be the quietest, but it will definitely be the cutest!

This group session is designed for current clients or those interested in who have experience with Spinal Energetics and are ready to explore the work in a shared space. Spinal Energetics is a body-led, nervous-system-focused modality that supports the release of stored tension, emotional patterns, and energetic holding through light touch, sound, breath, and awareness.
Each session begins with guided breathwork to help settle the nervous system and connect you into your body. The Spinal Energetics work then unfolds within the shared presence of the group, where co-regulation and being witnessed can support deeper softening and release. Group sessions are typically less hands-on and more spacious than individual sessions, allowing each person’s system to move, rest, or integrate in its own way, supported by the steady energy of the room.
We close with a meditation and sound bath, followed by time for community connection and integration. This is an invitation to explore Spinal Energetics not just as an individual practice, but as a shared experience - where healing, awareness, and regulation can unfold together.

8-Week Kundalini Yoga Chakra Series
A journey of energy, awareness, and alignment
This 8-week Kundalini Yoga series is an invitation to explore the chakra system as a living energetic pathway - a way of moving prana, clearing stagnation, and recalibrating the relationship between body, mind, and consciousness.
Each week focuses on one chakra, with a final week devoted to integration and alignment. Classes include an overview of the chakra, a Kundalini Kriya to activate and circulate energy, and a closing meditation to support grounding and integration.
Rather than forcing or striving, this practice invites awareness, presence, and rhythm, allowing energy to organize and flow naturally. Each class meets you at a different point of contact — because the energy body is always changing, responding, and refining itself.
Classes weave together pranayama (Breathwork), mantra and sound, Mudra, rhythmic movement, stillness, and meditation- traditional components of Kundalini Yoga that support energetic flow and awareness.
This series is for those curious about Kundalini Yoga, returning to their practice, or seeking a deeper connection to their inner energy and awareness.
No prior Kundalini experience required.
Come as you are. Let the energy meet you there.
